Judge says Line 3 should go forward along old route

Alpine skiing: Cold doesn't deter Atmore skiers

Despite a cold day at Spirit Mountain, the 40th annual Atmore Memorial ski race continued Saturday,

Teagin Olin of St. Olaf College was first down the hill in the men's race in a time of 1 minute, 42.49 seconds, with Isaiah Nelson of the Buck Hill Ski Team coming in second and Brad Seaborg of Marquette, Mich., finishing third.

In the women's race, Rylee McCormack of Waterville Valley, N.H., won in 1:31.81 in a razor-thin margin over Gabby Gencheff of St. Olaf and Hannah Soria of Steamboat Springs, Colo., who tied for second four-hundredths behind.

The top local finishers were Hermantown's Ashley Winberg (fifth in the women's race) and Hermantown's Austin Danelski (eighth in the men's race).

The event concludes today at Spirit Mountain.
