Local actor and comedian Jody Kujawa’s life changed after playing a 600-pound shut-in in Renegade’s production of “The Whale.” He started to notice that some of his own symptoms matched those of the ailing protagonist.

Sure enough, he was diagnosed with a heart condition that has changed his life.

Hear Kujawa talk about the day he was in the emergency room with ten doctors surrounding him and the lifestyle changes he has made since that day in order to drop over 100 pounds.
